Located in the career area of the house, Feng Shui lucky charms can help with employment and enhance smooth carrier development.

Many people spend most of their time at work: earning their living and trying to clime up the career ladder in order to provide the family with stable income, security and confidence. Therefore, a successful career means much for the majority.

Though many things depend, of course, on the professional skills and abilities of a person, the art of Feng Shui can also be of assistance.

Feng Shui Career Area

Feng Shui career area is located in the north of a house or a room. It takes care of employment and career development of the family members. This Feng Shui zone can positively influence the person’s success at work. For this purpose it should be treated correctly, and enhanced by means of Feng Shui charms, symbols, colors, and forms.

Lucky Charms for Employment and Career Development

  • A turtle. It is one of the most effective charms for the career area of the house. This animal represents stability, protection, and wisdom. A figurine or a picture of one turtle will bring support, and add to the wealth and prosperity of the family. As an option, an aquarium with a live turtle can be placed in the north.
  • A turtle with three frogs on the back. This Feng Shui charm symbolizes long, happy, and wealthy life. The best number of turtles to be placed in the career area is one. However, the more turtles there are in the house, the more luck they bring.
  • A fountain. Since Feng Shui career area is ruled by the element of water, a fountain can be an ideal lucky charm for it. Moving water will activate the positive energy of the place, will bring luck and success at work.
  • A glass with water. If there is no opportunity to locate a small fountain in the career zone of the room, a glass of water can symbolically replace it. However, it is important to regularly change water: it should be always fresh and clear, whether in a fountain, or in a glass.
  • A picture of flowing water. It will activate the positive energy that brings professional growth and development.

The Best Colors and Forms for Feng Shui Career Area

  • Colors. Black and blue are the best for the career area of the house because they are associated with water. Good options are also white, golden, or silver. These colors represent Feng Shui element of metal.
  • Forms. The most favorable forms and lines for the career area are wavy and smoothly curved, associated with water. Round forms, representing the metal element, are also good.

Located in the north of the house, Feng Shui area of career is responsible for the person’s employment and career development. Feng Shui career area should be activated and enhanced by means of colors, forms, and Feng Shui charms, such as a turtle or a fountain, in order for the family members to be successful at work.

Our immediate environment can indeed play an important part in providing us with abundance and wealth when Feng Shui principles are properly applied.
However, there are many different styles and it can be rather confusing so I wrote a book titled The Feng Shui Way. I draw this to your attention because it is unique in that it explains the basic premise (without the nonsense) behind each method and demystifies Feng Shui. More information is available at http://www.strategicbookpublishing.com/TheFengShuiWay.html
If you have any questions I am most willing to offer my views on this topic.
